The abbreviation GLA:D® stands for Good Life with osteoArthritis in Denmark. The program, which consists of the three areas "advice and instruction", "exercises" and "quality control by means of data collection", was introduced in Denmark in 2013. The aim of GLA:D® Switzerland Osteoarthritis is to enable people with knee osteoarthritis or hip osteoarthritis to enjoy a good quality of life and to delay or avoid surgery.

New data protection law

On September 1, 2023, the revised Data Protection Act will come into force, which will also apply to the operation of physiotherapy practices.

The total revision of the Data Protection Act (DPA) and the corresponding ordinances will improve the protection of personal data. As a result, important provisions on the processing of personal data will change from fall 2023.
